Why did you start your wesite
I see a need to for a trusted internet shopping resource that does what is advertised on the site.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
May,2007 and it is going better than expected.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I wanted something different from the usual sites. SuburbanSkyShopping is a name that is recognize at shopping site that can be trusted like a local store you have done business with for year. We are back by the Better Business Bureau and all transaction are shipped by Amazon with a guaranteed return policy.
Please give us a short summary of your website?
The site has over 100,000 unique items that you can go anywhere to buy, but because of combined buying power from multiply sources such as Target, Office Depot and many more we can offer the same prices at reduced prices. Shipping is a couple of days, and no charge with purchase over $25.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We let you know if the product is in stock before you order. Our selection is second to none...you will be able to find almost anything you need. From a new car transmission to the latest baby diapers...you can find most everything for your house and home including groceries.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I am currently looking into some charities to donate partial proceeds .
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It has been a lot of hard work but my years of experience in selling to the general public I know what it takes to keep a happy customer and I know you'll love this site.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I really enjoy watching the business grow on it's own merit, which mean repeat happy customers will tell their friends and they will tell their friends.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
We can handle unlimited demand.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I was aware before I started and anticipated the business start up investment and was 100% sure that if you have a good store people return.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Putting all the resources together.
