I understand that manufacturer's pictures do sometimes not line up with what is presented by the distributor because maybe they have changed the style of the product.What happens though, like in my case, when I ordered a sliding gag bit with a broken, twisted wire bit and it comes looking NOTHING like the picture. When you are ordering a bit for a horse, most of the time you have a pretty good idea what you need and rely on the picture that is with it. What I received is indeed not like the picture althought the item number was correct and it WAS a picture of the item the way it was before its design was changed.
It is too severe a bit for the young horse I ordered it for, and I needed it in a hurry for an event. I paid for rushed shipping, and although I got a really good deal on the price, it isn't what I needed in a hurry.
I think manufacturer's should have to present their distributors with updated product information when they change the design on something.
