When did you start your website and why?
Our company was formed in February of 2003. We started it to give consumers a safe and fun online shopping experience for gift buying.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
The hardest part is structuring a site that is surfer friendly. We want our customers to be able to find exactly what they are looking for without having to spend a lot of time searching for it.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
The easiest part is meeting our customers. We offer several ways to contact us, so we can interact with out customers.
What was your biggest mistake?
The biggest mistake we made was offering too much at once. The site was overwhelming and we found that shoppers were leaving too soon.

We have hired several outside professionals to make sure the problems are kept to a minimum.

Our business is our website, so it is the biggest benefit.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
Ecommerce is getting so big that it is hard to comprehend. Safer shopping technology reduces the risk of fraud and Amazing Gifts~N~More offers the highest technology available.

SEO is very difficult because it changes so often. Simply creating a website will get you no where fast. You have to be willing and able to adapt to the algorithms of the search engines, or have a lot of advertising money.

Search engines are still the best source of quality traffic. If you get your site in the big three- Google, Yahoo and MSN all others will follow.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Getting into Google. A lot of smaller search engines simply take results from Google, so getting top ranks helps.
What method has been least successful for promoting your website?
E-mail advertising. It is a waste of time for everyone.
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
I think it is growing so fast we need to find a way to get the search engines to be really specific. They still have work to do, but they are trying and it will soon be as safe as walking to the corner store.
