If a baby is the new

By Wilbur Corncob at 04/22/07 10:22
I wish everyone in the world to have too much money so they are able to buy these Six outrageous buys for baby. I would agree with CNN that these are absolute necessities:
  • Fresco high chair and Coco plexi lounger ($350+)
  • Gucci sneakers ($185)
  • Versailles baby crib ($3125)
  • Dinh Van bracelet ($1515)
  • Louis Vuitton diaper bag ($1870)
  • Bugaboo by Bas Kosters Stroller ($2,000)

My recommendation would be to skip all of the above and just feed your baby a little less sugar... it won't cost anything and it just might be healthy.

Places I often shop

By Wilbur Corncob at 04/21/07 13:44
Online, I often shop at ebay, though I never participate in an action.

I only buy items that have a buy it option. When I want to buy something, I want to buy it, I don't want to play games.

I find that ebay is one of the few places where many of the merchants will ship overseas via the U.S. Postal Service. Or in some cases the Austrialian Post.

Offline, my preference is any small store.

Places I never shop

By Wilbur Corncob at 04/21/07 13:41
The number one place I never shop online is Amazon. I find their site is simply too convoluted, they seem to want to make you take as many steps as possible to buy something or check out.

Additionally, they store by credit card number and I disapprove of any merchant that does that. Since they can authorize transactions with the same information, they must have saved the cvv2 code as well.. which is a nono.

Off line the place I never shop is Walmart. Fortunately, I have no lived in a country with Walmart for years. Once you've been away from that kind of store you lose all interest in it.

Another American who lives near by is always going out to the Walmartish store in the area. What a waste.

Online Clothes Shopping

By Mary Simpson at 04/19/07 16:06
I can't imagine buying clothes online. You really have to try on the dress or the jeans. How can you get the perfect tight fit in your jeans from a shopping cart.

Without the tight fit you have no fashion. What's the sense?

Today, aromatherapy is worn to make a fashion statement and to offer a homeopathic remedy for stress and fatigue. Standing in a particularly long line at the mall? Ttake care that your chain is strong enough to hold your vial of oil safely and securely when you are selecting your sterling silver aromatherapy jewelry. The vials are small and you can use potent oil for an aroma that lingers as long as possible.

If the sent is too strong, you can use a carrier oil as well to balance the scent and diffuse the aroma. When filling your vial, make sure you use oil that at room temperature. This avoids overheating your sterling silver aromatherapy jewelry or burning your skin.

Why are People so Inconsiderate?

By Lexie Elaine at 04/13/07 11:33
I find it highly aggravating that some people while shopping have so little manners.

I guess it is like driving or anything else, it is just bad manners. While shopping at Wal Mart the other day, simply navigating the aisles was a nightmare because that is where people:

  • Socialize with friends they haven't seen for at least a day
  • Talk on their cell phones while their cart is parked in the MIDDLE of the aisle
  • Allow their children to run wild, and force you to put on your cart brakes to avoid impact
  • Stand and look at a section of products for half an hour, and when people are behind them, and OBVIOUSLY want to grab something from that section, refuse to move over
  • Refuse to stay on their side of the street (aisle)

I wish people would simply just have some respect for fellow shoppers, or just exercise some good manners and common courtesy.

Shopping at Tractor Supply

By Lexie Elaine at 04/12/07 14:25
Tractor Supply is my favorite place to go when I need supplies for my horses. I can never walk in that place and come out with just one item.

They carry many products that are useful. For instance, two of my horses were recently brought in from outdoor pasture and were on the thin side. They were going into training for competitive events and their weight was just not holding steady over the course of their exercising.

I use a [404 Check: was link to http:/ / www. mytscstore. com/ detail. asp?pcID=6&paID=1044&sonID=266&page=3&productID=15305, anchor: Weight Builder] product to increase the amount of calories they were provided without the risk associated with just increasing their grain intake.

There are so many great products in this store.

Shopping Sickness

By Lexie Elaine at 04/11/07 12:19
Does anyone else have this problem?

I am 45 years old, or young, depending on how you look at it. I love to shop. I don't mean I just enjoy going out once in a while to look over stuff, but I actually LOVE buying stuff. Especially stuff I think I need at the moment, but is of questionable need.

One of my favorite places to shop is Maurices. We have one in our mall and the manager there is amazing. When I walk in alone, or with one of my four daughters, she helps me pick out stuff that is exactly what the need calls for.

You know how stores always come up with these cool ideas about putting the items on the mannequins, so that everything screams "buy me"? Well, what better than to have those same people help you pick out stuff that goes together. At my age, I am not always hip about what looks good. I run into the problem of trying to dress like my daughters because their selection of clothes is always neat.

You can always go to Maurices' website to shop also, but I find the personal experience is amazing.

I have found alot of items that I didn't even now existed and has made my life alot easier. I like to call it my gadget store. If you are trying to figure a way to do something or to make something easier, just go on there website, they will probably have something that will work.
