With the economic crisis on the loose, people tend to be on the defense, buying less even if the holiday season is up and coming.

A record decline on retail industry was up even before the onset of the recent economic recession because of the high crude prices worldwide, and even the gas hike have already subsided, still consumer confidence don't have good standing.
